If in Krakow there is Miodowa (Honey) Street, there should be an Apiary on that street. Finally there is one. A sweet and cozy place, flowing with honey and... not necessarily with milk. With mead actually.
Mead is said to be the one of the oldest alcoholic beverages, drunk by our ancestors. It is time to come back to this tradition. In Pasieka Restaurant (the name stands for Apiary) you will find a wide choice of meads and other honey-based, stronger or weaker, beverages. From the honey-tea, which helps fight flu and cold, to a wide choice of meads, some exclusively available in Pasieka, to a number of honey vodkas, able to heat up even the bone-cold.
In the menu, there is a wide choice of traditional Polish cuisine dishes, elements of a typical Italian and European cuisine, as well as exclusive specialties by our Apiary chefs.
As we are in the apiary, there must be some bees and flowers. Large pictures depicting the apian reality decorate the walls. Right from the entrance you can see a one-of-a-kind honey-color-underlit bar. Also, the beehive motif can be found in various places.
There is one more, unique thing here: the Little Apiary, a special room for our little apiarists, with a special menu for kids. As the owners assure, its contents has been specially composed based on their own experiences feeding children and consists of the most “edible”, from the child’s point of view, dishes.
To summarize, Pasieka is a place for everyone. It is a great place to organize any kind of a party, including the ones full of food and beverages, or for dancing (as once you have some mead, you can feel like dancing).
